The official name of this association is: "Safeguarding the Pontic Heritage of the Bois-des-Fossés".
Its purpose is to preserve and enhance all the elements recalling the stay, in the 18th and 19th century, of the Dupont de Nemours family in the castle of Bois-des-Fossés located in the commune of Chevannes (Loiret - FRANCE).
More generally, the association aims to maintain the heritage of the Bois-des-Fossés.
The association proposes to achieve its objectives, in particular by :
- Maintaining a place gathering all the memories relating to this period;
- Allowing, by appointment with the association, to organize memorial visits on the remains of the castle, the buildings and the gardens of origin;
- To collect manual donations and public subsidies;
- The sale, whether permanent or occasional, of any products or services that fall within the scope of its purpose, or that are likely to contribute to its realization;
- Maintain the heritage by participating in the financing of works of all kinds.
